These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Hal ("Hal", "we", "us", "our") regarding your use of the Hal mobile application and related services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must have legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent you are authorized to bind that organization.

3. Service description

Hal provides AI-assisted endurance training guidance informed by connected training evidence. The Services are informational and educational in nature and do not constitute medical advice.

4. User responsibilities

• Provide accurate account and profile information.
• Use your own judgment regarding training load, health, and safety.
• Consult qualified professionals for medical conditions or injury concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality of your account credentials.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not misuse the Services, interfere with operation, reverse engineer non-public systems, or use the Services for unlawful activity.

6. Intellectual property

The Services, including software, branding, and content (excluding your submitted data), are owned by Hal or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

7. Third-party services

The Services may rely on third-party platforms and APIs (including fitness data providers). Hal is not responsible for third-party availability, policies, or changes.

8. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hal is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from or related to the Services.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hal from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Services or breach of these Terms.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create legal risk, or compromise system integrity.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You agree that disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
